So, recently I’ve been trying to improve my Japanese by playing about on Youtube, typing in random Japanese words and seeing which corridor fate might lead me down. It was through this highly scientific method that I discovered myself witness to the trials and tribulations of Shin Chan, a typical Japanese kid (except for the weird hamster face), and his family from Saitama (by far the most underrated of all Japan’s prefectures). The video above is an introduction to the family and their history, whereas the video below (no subtitles!) is my favourite episode so far – involving Shinchan and a broken TV…
That kids face creeps me out. It looks like a hippo.
